The processor does not shrink! It is reported that the iPhone 12 entry version is equipped with A14 processor,

On October 9th, Apple will hold its second new product launch event in the fall at 1:00 AM on October 14th, Beijing time, and the long-awaited iPhone 12 series mobile phones will meet with you.

According to the news, Apple will launch four iPhone 12 series phones this year, namely the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini, the 6.1-inch iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

There have been rumors that Apple will "shrink" the configuration of the iPhone 12 mini, instead of the A14 chip, but the downgraded B14 chip.

However, according to the latest news from foreign media, Apple will not "shrink" the chip of the iPhone 12 mini. This model is still equipped with the A14 bionic chip.

Foreign media said that the iPhone 12 series that Apple will release this year will be equipped with A14 chip as standard, and different versions will not be distinguished on the processor. The main reason is that TSMC’s 5nm production capacity is limited, and it is impossible for Apple to open a separate product line to produce a shrunken version of the A14, and the rapid distribution of A14 processor models can allow them to quickly dilute the corresponding cost.

So the iPhone 12 series is likely to be equipped with an A14 processor, but as an entry-level model, Apple should shrink in terms of camera and battery capacity. However, there should be surprises in the pricing of this phone, and it will be the model that will drive Apple's mobile phone sales this year.
